Who accepts eIDV
It is your firm’s responsibility to verify the identity of your clients in accordance with the JMLSG Guidance. Product providers can rely on the verification that you have conducted. Once you have verified the identity of your customer you would normally complete a blank Confirmation of Verification of Identity (CVI) certificate, sign and submit to product providers, confirming that you have verified the identity of your client in accordance with the JMLSG Guidance.
As a further time saving, for successful ID Verification checks, the eIDV system also generates a prepopulated CVI output document , which you can simply print, sign and submit to product providers, confirming that you have verified the identity of your clients in accordance with the JMLSG Guidance.
Additionally, whilst all providers can accept a CVI, whether manually or electronically populated, those listed below have agreed to accept the eIDV prepopulated CVI without the need to add a 'wet signature'. This list is regularly being updated. If there is a life company, pension company, fund manager, fund platform, mortgage lender or other supplier you would like to see added to the list please contact admin@eIDV.co.uk
